Larian Studios has announced that the first patch for Baldur’s Gate 3 will incorporate over 1,000 fixes and adjustments. In a recent Twitter update, CEO Swen Vincke shared the developer’s roadmap and expressed gratitude for the player feedback they have received. Vincke mentioned that their current focus is on resolving reported issues and bugs, while also considering player suggestions.

Since the game’s PC release on August 3, Larian has already released three hotfixes, addressing numerous crashes, blockers, and bugs. Additionally, another hotfix is planned to be released before the first major patch of the game.

One highly requested feature that players have been anticipating is the ability to change their character’s appearance during gameplay. Larian has confirmed that they are actively working on introducing this feature.

On August 13, Baldur’s Gate 3 reached a remarkable peak concurrent player count of 875,343, making it the ninth-highest in the platform’s history. The game came close to Hogwarts Legacy’s record.

While the game will be released for the PS5 on September 6, it is also being developed for Xbox. However, Larian has acknowledged that releasing the game on Microsoft’s consoles may require certain compromises due to unresolved technical issues.
