Mojang’s latest update for Minecraft Legends brings a host of exciting new features and improvements. One of the most anticipated additions is the ability to pet animals. Previously, animals in the game were simply there for aesthetics, but now players can show some love and each animal has a unique reaction to being pet.
In addition to petting animals, the update also introduces a new roles system for multiplayer. Players can communicate with their team through markers and use commands like Attack, Defend, Gather, and Default. They can also request specific structures to be built and collaborate with other players on their suggestions. Before starting a game, players can assign themselves roles from a list of options such as Builder, Explorer, Fighter, and Piglin Hunter.
The update also includes an experimental mode for both campaign and versus modes. This allows players to modify various aspects of the game, including resources, gravity, speed, and even piglins. Mojang plans on releasing more custom settings in future updates, providing players with even more flexibility and control over their gameplay experience.
To make gameplay more seamless, the update introduces a feature called ‘Auto Lure’. Now, instead of manually commanding mobs to follow you, they will automatically follow you as soon as they spawn. The update also brings improvements to creepers, resource visibility, player empowerment, mob pathfinding, PvP rewards, and the game’s UI and HUD.
As part of their monthly tradition, Mojang has also added a new Lost Legend called The Crucible. This challenging quest requires players to clear through nine chambers, with each chamber becoming progressively harder. Players must defeat the boss within 30 minutes to successfully complete The Crucible and earn the Crucible Champion Hero skin.
With the latest update, Minecraft Legends continues to evolve, offering players new and exciting features to enhance their gameplay experience. Whether it’s petting animals, improved communication in multiplayer, or exploring the depths of The Crucible, there’s something for everyone in this update.
