The Taiwanese ratings board has revealed the identity of two upcoming PlayStation Plus Classics titles. Bandai Namco fighters Tekken 6 and Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny have been rated for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Tekken 6 was originally released in 2009 for PS3, Xbox 360, and PlayStation Portable, while Soulcalibur: Broken Destiny was released in the same year exclusively for Sony’s handheld.

It is assumed that these newly rated games will be added to the PlayStation Plus Classics Catalogue, a library of hundreds of titles from the original PlayStation, PS2, PS3, and PSP, available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers.

It is worth noting that Tekken 8 was announced last year and is currently being developed for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The character roster for the game was partially leaked via a closed network test recently.

As for the Soulcalibur series, Soulcalibur 6 was released in 2018 and no plans for a successor have been revealed by Bandai Namco. The previous installment was delisted from digital stores in June.

The PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Classics titles for August have been made available to subscribers. However, while the Essential games can be downloaded by all subscribers, the Game Catalogue’s PS4 and PS5 titles are only available for Extra and Premium tier members.

Some of the new releases this month include Lost Judgment, Sea of Stars, Cursed to Golf, and Moving Out 2. The Classics Catalogue for August includes MediEvil: Resurrection, Ape Escape: On the Loose, and Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice.
