Microsoft has revealed the upcoming additions to its Xbox Game Pass service, including titles for console, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Today, Everspace 2 joins the service, available on Cloud and Xbox Series X/S. On August 17, players can look forward to Firewatch, which will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC. The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will also be joining on August 18, accessible on Cloud, Console, and PC.
Looking ahead, Xbox Game Pass members can expect Sea of Stars on August 29 and Gris on September 5, both available on Cloud, Console, and PC. These titles offer a diverse range of gaming experiences to keep players entertained.
In addition to the latest additions, several titles were already added to Game Pass earlier this month, such as Celeste, A Short Hike, Broforce Forever, Limbo, Airborne Kingdom, and Quake II, all available on Cloud, Console, and PC. These games offer a mix of genres and styles to cater to different player preferences.
While new games are being added, it’s worth noting that several titles will be leaving the Game Pass service on August 31. These include Black Desert and Commandos 3 – HD Remaster on Cloud and Console, as well as Immortality, Nuclear Throne, Surgeon Simulator 2, and Tinykin on Cloud, Console, and PC. Make sure to check them out before they’re gone.
In recent months, Microsoft has made changes to the Xbox Game Pass pricing and introduced a trial offer. In July, the company increased the price of some Game Pass subscriptions and raised the price of the Xbox Series X console. However, they also reintroduced a $1 / £1 trial offer for select Game Pass subscriptions, giving players an affordable way to experience a wide range of games.
Looking ahead, Xbox players can anticipate more changes as Microsoft intends to replace the long-running Xbox Live Gold subscription service with the more inclusive Xbox Game Pass Core membership tier in September. This move aims to provide players with a unified gaming experience across both console and PC platforms.
