In a world with constant dangers popping out at every corner, the odds are that you and your party will receive some damage. In Baldur’s Gate 3, said damage will be noticeable on your character’s face and body. This will feature blood, dirt, mud, and even open wounds as a result of a confrontation. While the crude nature of battle makes this realistic, you might not want to see them all the time. Especially during some closeups during cutscenes or dialogues. Thankfully, there is a way to get rid of these battle scars. Here is how to remove blood and dirt in Baldur’s Gate 3.
To remove blood and dirt from your character’s face and body, you can enter water bodies, use water flasks, or create water by using spells. This will indeed remove the blood and dirt from your character. However, you might notice that your character will still appear wounded due to recent battle strikes or slashes. To completely heal and restore your character’s appearance, you will have to perform a short rest or a long rest.
Since you can make use of a short rest while out on the field and a long rest both require you to visit the camp and use a considerable number of supplies, short resting is the best bet you have to remove blood, dirt, and even mud from your character’s face and body in Baldur’s Gate 3.
Be sure to use your two daily short rests at the best time possible. Yes, getting to see your characters in pristine condition during cutscenes is a nice thing to have, but remember that this mechanic will allow you to restore health and even some spells. Be mindful and rest at the best time possible.
