Leveling up a new seasonal character in Diablo IV just got a whole lot faster. Fans have discovered a dungeon that can take players all the way up to level 40 in just a couple of hours.

Following a recent update by Blizzard that increased enemy density, the Domhainne Tunnels in Scosglen have become the go-to spot for quick leveling. The patch, known as 1.1.1, aimed to address community concerns and improve gameplay. It significantly increased monster density in nightmare dungeons by 50%. However, players have also noticed changes in non-nightmare dungeons, resulting in more monsters and faster leveling.

YouTuber Raxxanterax highlighted this new leveling strategy. Before the patch, Raxxanterax’s record for reaching level 40 was around three and a half hours. However, with the increased monster density, Raxxanterax achieved level 40 in just two hours and seven minutes.

The strategy is quite simple. Players create a new character and choose World Tier 1. They then head straight to the Domhainne Tunnels and follow one of the many available builds for quick leveling. Instead of completing the dungeon objectives, players circle around the map, killing everything in their path. After clearing the dungeon, they reset it and start the XP grind all over again. The speed at which players can reach level 40 is impressive, making the dungeon playfully nicknamed ‘Dopamine Tunnels’ by Raxxanterax.

This leveling trick is ideal for players who have already completed the game and are starting fresh with seasonal characters or experimenting with different classes. Furthermore, the Domhainne Tunnels also prove to be the fastest route from level 40 to level 55, according to Raxxanterax’s comprehensive testing.

However, it’s uncertain how long this method will remain effective. As the dungeon’s high monster density seems to deviate from the game’s original design, it’s likely that Blizzard may patch it in future updates. The next update for Diablo IV is scheduled for August 15, but there’s no indication that it will address dungeon enemy density or specifically target the Domhainne Tunnels. Until then, players have ample time to utilize this leveling strategy and quickly progress their characters to higher tiers.
