PlayStation Plus subscribers are in for a treat this August, as a new lineup of games is set to be released. Unlike last month’s horror-themed offerings, this month’s selection offers a range of games that cater to different tastes.
One of the standout titles for August is Sea of Stars, a turn-based role-playing game that follows three adventurers using magic to defeat monsters created by an evil alchemist. Developed by Sabotage Studio, known for their well-received 2018 release The Messenger, Sea of Stars aims to modernize the classic RPG while still providing a nostalgic and fun experience. It will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch on August 29.
Another highly anticipated title coming to PS Plus is Destiny 2: The Witch Queen. Ethan Gatch of Kotaku describes it as the game’s ‘best campaign’ yet, where players take on the role of guardians tasked with solving the mystery of the witch queen’s theft of the Light. Along the way, players will engage in thrilling shoot-banging action and collect valuable loot to enhance their character’s wardrobe and armory.
Lost Judgment, from the creators of the Yakuza games, presents players with a challenging detective storyline. As Takayuki Yagami, players will investigate a series of brutal serial killings that raise questions about their loyalty to the justice system.
Fans of the popular game Moving Out will be delighted to know that Moving Out 2 is included in this month’s lineup. This sequel allows players to pack up furniture and items with even more options for cooperative play, including online co-op and cross-play.
In addition to these major titles, there are several other games that will be available on PS Plus at the end of August. Destroy All Humans 2 Reprobed, Two Point Hospital: Jumbo Edition, Source of Madness, Cursed Golf, Dreams, PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night, Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures, Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition, Spellforce III Reforced, and Midnight Fight Express offer a diverse range of gaming experiences.
If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, make sure to mark your calendars for August and get ready to embark on exciting adventures with these fantastic games. Whether you’re into RPGs, action-packed campaigns, or cooperative gameplay, this month’s lineup has something for everyone.
