One of the most highly anticipated games of 2023, Starfield, is set to release in September. To build excitement for the game, Bethesda is offering fans the opportunity to ask questions directly to the developers via a Q&A session on Discord.
Lead quest designer Will Shen and lead game designer Emil Pagliarulo will be hosting the Q&A, scheduled for August 16 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. In order to participate, fans must sign up for Bethesda’s Constellation program, which grants them access to the dedicated Constellation Discord channels. Questions can be submitted in the #constellation channel until August 11, although there is no guarantee that every question will be answered.
This Q&A event is particularly significant for Pagliarulo, as he had previously informed fans that he was not authorized to provide updates on Starfield and that only Todd Howard, the game’s director, could do so. However, this is about to change, and Pagliarulo will now have the opportunity to engage with the fanbase and address their inquiries.
Starfield is slated to release on September 6 for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Interestingly, the game could have been an exclusive for the PlayStation 5, as Microsoft revealed that they initially considered acquiring ZeniMax, Starfield’s parent company, which would have made it exclusive to Xbox consoles. Nevertheless, Microsoft ultimately acquired ZeniMax, and Starfield will now be available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers at no additional cost.
Moreover, there is a $100 edition of the game that allows players to access it five days earlier, starting on September 1. Alternatively, players can opt for a $35 premium upgrade on other versions to gain early access as well.
