Forcing out the Blood Moon in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is in everyone’s focus these days since that single move resets all the enemies and items on the map and whoever knows how to do it properly can bring their farming game to another level.

Doing this won’t be too hard but keep in mind that it involves a little glitch exploitation that could be fixed in the future by the developers. Anyway, since it’s working now we will show you just how you can trigger this Blood Moon and refresh the world in Tears of the Kingdom!

The key to forcing out the Blood Moon in Tears of the Kingdom is overloading the game’s memory. That can be done in plenty of ways and with plenty of weapons in the game but we will show you one way that we’ve found is foolproof.

First, you need to go to the Tanagar Canyon West Cave showcased above. Walk deep into the cave until you find a big wall with destroyable boulders. Shooting into that boulder wall will cause a lot of game memory to be used at once, but doing that is not enough.

Instead, you need to climb on a nearby statue/pillar, jump down, and do multiple slow-motion attacks with your bow on the boulders. In order for this to work, you need to have a bow that fires more arrows at once (like Savage Lynel Bow) and Opals equipped on it.

When you perform that jump from the statue and start shooting at the boulder wall, your game is going to begin to lag heavily. But don’t worry! It’s part of the plan since the game’s memory is now heavily overloaded. After you wait a couple of seconds, you will see the cutscene showing that the Blood Moon has been triggered and that everything has been reset in the game.

Alternatively, you can try this strategy in any cave where you find a big boulder wall that you can destroy. Make sure you equip Opals to your bow and shoot at it. For some, it works after one or two shots, while for others it requires more shots to trigger.
